Paragon/Ranger Help
Hi guys! I just created a paragon on my new Nightfall account, and I was wondering if its okay to make a Paragon/Ranger... I know Serpents Quickness is a perfect skill for paras, but I want a para build that invovles bows...
My paragon is named cupid, so I want him to be a angel with a bow. XD

There is no point in a para build that uses bows. They already have a ranged attack, its called a spear.

Yeah but I want him to have a bow because of the cupid reference. XD I'm weird... but I think it would be pretty fun... So no builds...? ;-;

I wouldn't recommend it but if you want to then um...Barrage and Go for the Eyes! to fuel the energy for it? lol The rest of the bar could be TNTF, Dshot(or something else you prefer, I just can't wield a bow and not have Dshot lol), AR, Signet of Return, and 2 more PvE skills of choice (Maybe I'm the Strongest and Ebon Battle Standard of Honor?). 12 Marksmanship, 14-16 Leadership, and 4 Command. That's just off the top of my head . It wouldn't be an effective build but if you want to have fun with a P/R with bow I guess you could go that route.

Focused Anger
Theres Nothing to Fear
Save Yourselves
Anthem of Flame
Go For the Eyes
Aggressive Refrain
Savage Shot
Distracting Shot
Don't really approve of this but if you absolutely must be a paragon with a bow at least you can run something useful. Use a shortbow for moar adrenaline.

Can't use SY! as a P/R, another reason not to be a bow P/R.

Oh, forgot SY was warrior. Well that ruins my plan for a P/R that is still somewhat useful.

GFTE gives it self all the energy it needs if you use it with the rest of the party is within an earshot.

I would try barrage, GFTE, AR, anthem of envy, interupt, signet of return, TNTF and 2 more of you choice.
For attributes, i would go 12 mark, 9+2 command, 9+1 leadership.
That should help with a lot of damage

^ That would be 9 skills . With only 10 Leadership you will need something beside TNTF to upkeep AR outside of battle, so either Anthem of Flame or Weariness to finish your build.

LoL! I forgot to change the 2 to a 1
Maybe drop mark down to 11 and up leadership might help.

Paragon/Ranger Build
I only have prophecies and nightfall (planning to get GWEN). I know I am limited since I am missing the Save Yourselves skill in factions, but what should I use instead of that? I can't change builds yet sinc eI'm only level 12 right now, btw. XD

Paragons don't even need the PvE only skills to be good.
Paragon/Ranger can be pretty good, but a little tricky...lot's of paragon shouts don't work properly on pets (you do get the leadership bonus from them though)
Go For The Eyes is essential for any Paragon, but especially for P/R.... GFTE is one of the only shouts that works properly on pets. Lots of P-gon skills say "party members" which excludes pets entirely (even though they appear in your "party window"), and lots of P-gon shouts also trigger "when affected ally uses a skill", pets get jipped there too, but you can at least use Echos like Burning refrain to trigger "when the shout or chant expires"- Be very careful when reading the wordings of P-gon skills in regards to pets and minions.
If you use Go For The Eyes (highly recommend it) an adrenaline booster like "Make Your Time" can help get GFTE up more often than waiting for it to charge up from your attacks.

Two slots for a pet is a waste on a Para bar. Just run straight Para skills and you'll do fine.
